I've never seen that setup before looks sick!

Has to be in a mirror. Unless someone is making backwards rotarys out there... haha. but no. it is in a mirror or camera tricks of some kind

KompressorLOgic 11-18-09 02:04 PM

smoke and mirrors, voodoo magic

Montego 11-18-09 02:38 PM

dude welcome to 2001....

SP engineering done FD. The picture was transposed and it was printed in the magazine like that. Reason? who knows... most likely a mistake. IIRC it was a TURBO mag article.

Edit- yup here's the article:

What headlights are those?

MR_Rick 11-18-09 05:31 PM

The headlight are old C-West kit.

The "reverse" engine is because it was made for a RHD FD. Old JDM mod.

:D

Wow ...

GoodfellaFD3S 11-18-09 06:54 PM

Paroozing huh :D?

ptrhahn 11-19-09 10:22 AM

Yup, it was just flopped in photoshop or the layout program—RHD cars don't have mirror-image manifolds. A lot of times, designers like to have the composition pushing inward on the page of a publication, so you'll flop a photo so that a person isn't staring off the page or something—but in this case, you can't quite get away with that.

Yeah, it always bugged me when Cindy Crawford's mole kept moving from one side of her mouth to the other... damned editors!!!

tt7hvn 11-19-09 03:41 PM

^ lol, that's great, kinda reminds me of spaceballs when that guy's mole kept moving all over his face

and yes, i was "paroozing" around my local internet connection network

ByeByeSti 11-19-09 11:08 PM

ahh trippy

dblboinger 11-20-09 12:55 AM

This happens occassionally with mass printing. If the negative is flipped over by mistake the left and right sides will be reversed.
