is this normal ? the smoke puffing during decelleration.
the tuner says it's excess un-burnt fuel.. if the exhaust is hot enough... it turn into flame....

another FD3S7007's single turbo... also same... just newly rebuild less than 1 year. already run in...

Sound like turbo , I haved that problem in my old engine and with the old turbos , I haved that problem too with the new engine with the standar turbos but as soon as i change the turbos for a single setup the problem was resault.
Meaby I'm wrong but it is the only posibility that I think that can cause that problem.
When you take off the pedal from the gas and meaby you have a small blow off or bypass change the load on the turbo's bearings and they leak oil.

looks like the turbos probley.when they get old they start smoking alot of times.
thats alot of smoke how much gas was he dumping in to it??

what upgrades you got?

basically nothing much.. just intake, exhaust, mid pipe, cat back, PFC, hard pipes, 99 spec radiator (slightly larger), brakes etc don't count :)

the fuel they dump in.... more than the PFC stock value.

Usually blown turbos smoke the most when you're on the throttle hard.

Smoke after letting off the throttle is usually caused by unburned fuel, and flames (afterburn) are common when that happens. Don't melt your bumper. More precise tuning can reduce this a lot.
