Non Sequential - No Boost
Hi All,
Recently went non sequential and used the below link. I now have no boost, so can anyone point me in the right direction on where I can start looking. I'm currently on power FC with greedy v mount. The PFC controller shows .01-.05 kg/cm2 and I currently have the waste gate open. But to my knowledge if the waste gate is open then you would be getting "infinite" boost and not 0. Any help would be appreciated! Rotary Resurrection home of the budget rebuild. |
did you follow every step in that write up exactly? if not, what did you do different? did you turn off the sequential control in the power fc settings?

What do you mean when you say the wastegate is open? The small reference line is undone or the actuator arm is unhooked from the swing valve?
What conditions are you putting the car under... free revving in neutral or driving down the road and putting load on the engine? |
Hey Guys,
cr-rex - I did every step except for 11-14. Also I've never actually come across anything regarding sequential controls believe it or not. K-Tune - No vacuum lines are hooked up. I tired both free revving, which i thought should till give me a couple psi, along with 1st and 2nd gear acceleration. |
Sequential On/off should not have any effect with all the sequential parts removed.
You may just have a massive boost leak. Torn coupler or missing gasket... |
If you wired the waste gate open you will have no boost.
The Precontrol should be wired open or removed. It's in the exhaust manifold. The waste gate is in the turbine housing. |
