Non Sequential Colored Hose Diagram

Hey guys,
I did this at home in paint . I wanted a clear diagram to go by when doing this conversion.

If any of you gurus out there see a mistake, or room for improvement, please post and let me know. I will correct it and post it again.

I forgot to write this on there, but the double throttle has been removed and should be plugged as well. I will put that in revision 1 :) along with any necessary corrections.

I know about this site. But there is no "Non-Sequential Diagram" Just a how to write up.
What you show above is the "Sequential Simplification Diagram" wherein the actuation of the turbos remains sequential.
The diagram I made is for "Non Sequential" where the turbos spool at the same time.

If you look to the lower left edge of the diagram there is a quote that says "insert boost controller here (replace restrictor)" and has a line pointing to the boost line going to the wastegate. I just left this, since some people will use soleniod actuated boost controllers and some will use manual controllers.

I've always wondered about this:

1. Why some people don't just use the stock nipple on the LIM for their FPR. Originally this is where the PRC solenoid plugs into anyways.

2. The red line going from the y-pipe to the LIM.
I've read posts from Chuck where he has mentioned this line is somehow related to air-bleed with the injectors.

I'd like to see a definitive answer on "2".

You could probably use any open nipple on the upper or lower intake manifold for the fpr. It just needs to sense the manifold pressure. I would just suggest using the closest nipple so there is less chance of a line kink. Perhaps the one that once went to egr.

As far as #2. I too have read in various places that you must keep the red line going from the y pipe to the lim or some bad stuff can happen.

the best spot for the FPR spot is on the LIM...i have done 3 NS conversions, and ALWAYS put it down there, kinda near the oil injeciton hoses.

but not on the po' man's mod, like rikki had on his site at once, it does not need to be done, since that version is fully replacable....

Thanx for this diagram needed this today. Working on a project FD for my friend this came in handy thank you..

How much vacuum line would you estimate needing for this conversion (in feet and diameter)?

Very nice diagram :)
