non sequential boost problem

ok well the whole last month i tried to get my sequential to work. but this last weekend i just changed it to non sequential. but now it will not stop boosting. what do i need to do? i have a dp,mp,hks ex,and a mbc (turboxs performance boost controller). i even tryed to take the boost controller out and it still overboost. but like i said. it just keeps boosting as long as i hold the gas. HELP!!!!

Did you remove the restrictor pill to the wastegate? If not there is a line that runs from the primary turbo compressor housing to the wastegate. Take that line off and put in a new vacuum line. It should help your issue.

Normally with non-seq and no cats, you will need to port the wastegate, or put a restrictor in the exhaust just before the muffler.

there are some guys on the forum that will make restrictor plates cheap. You can try to port the wastegate that works for some people it worked for me.

There are lots of posts on "boost creep" or "midpipe" if you search for those phrases, which will fill in the knowledge gaps.
