NON-SEQ ? and or simplified SEQ?
Okay just start i dont have lots of problems with my seq. set up just occasionally but kinda of sick of dealing with it so, i read through the non seq conversion and it doesn't sad like its to bad to do end at the end it said some one was possibly going to make a kit to do it so its faster i tried to email bout kit but no response so does anyone know if there is one and how to get it?? second as i was reading through someone posted about how to simplify the seq rats nest but didn't understand it very well so i was also wondering incase i missed it somewhere if there is a more discriptive way of how to do the simplification on the seq??

Get an ecu; youre probably going to pop your engine. If you do not have problems with your sequentials then there is no reason to switch[period]

Yeah i have been lookin to get an ecu and im not leaning towards the non seq setup just yet thats why i was lookin more for an answer on the way to simplify the selonoids and hoses thats alittle more discriptive first cuz i want to do that now while ive got the upper manifold off right now replacing a ssolonoid i broke on accident..

I have no experience with going non-seq. Damn solenoids. Please get an ecu. Pettit makes a great one you can find used for 300 usually and theyre great for people who just want a tad more fun. Going full sequential required modifying your actual turbochargers. Cutting off flappers or welding them open. There should be some great info on all of it if you run a search for "non sequential".

The simplification is basically removing the emissions part of the vacuum system. The simplification does move a few vacuum/pressure locations, but the jist of it is removing emissions. The turbos still function the same as stock. If you really look at all the lines; about half of them are emissions while the other half is sequential control. Once you understand that, trying to troubleshoot boost problems really isn't all that bad. |
Sequential simplified (removes emissions) - about 20 or so vacuum lines.
Non-Sequential - 7 vacuum lines or so. It's much easier to work on the car either way, just depends on if your stock sequential system is working or not. |

And i did do the searches through all the non seq stuff and thats were i found someone talking about just simplifing the seq system and still have your seq work fine...just trin to find one thats alittle more discriptive? |
when you taks all that stuff out the biggest part i dont get is how you do all the resistors for the solonoids or can you just still leave them hooked up and just remove the lines and parts and block off the couple ares?

I should probably add the whole reason im debating the issue is because im have boost problems no boost from first turbo thats why i started tearing her apart once again looking for a cracked hose or coupler i found one the was loose on the why pipe but everything else appears good so i am hoping when i get the solonoid in tomorrow and put it all togeher that was the problem cuz im really afraid my primary turbo went bad cuz i didnt have a cat tell just recently which i now know was a bad thing could cuz you to mess up primary turbo so in the end if i do find turbo to be bad and i have to tear it all apart to do the turbos i would like to go non seq which is why i asked about the kit..

If you have no boost from your primary turbo, but full boost from both turbos in the latter part of the boost pattern; the Charge Control is the most likely place to start. Use the troubleshooting guide:

i have a vacume generator that i have hooked up tp the charge control valve and it appears to actuate fine manually anyways i also checked the bov with gen and it appears to hold ive checked all piping i also plugged and put pressure to vac chamber to make sure its not cracked... i did find the y pipe coupler loose which i am hoping all it was but i dont think it is...so as soon as i put new solonoid on and get the car back together ill find out im just not sure what else to check and im afraid it is the turbo thats bad....
