non seq conversion question

One quick question before i start putting everything back together.

I'm removing my ACV, I got the block off plate and its on. I saw a solenoid looking part attached to the ACV it has two nipples, (it has the mitsubishi logo on it if that helps) can I trash this or is it needed?

Air Control Valve located underneath the UIM on the side of the LIM near the rats nest

THE sol is the turbo control solenoid -two nipples and a small breather .The unit is attached with a stud and nut.

No...I kept it plugged in, but no vac lines.
