No power when turning turning the ignition switch
 
So I just picked up a stock FD everything is bone stock, it's an automatic. The car sat for a very long time. I've checked all the fuses and I'm not getting power to any of them. The ignition isn't getting any power along with other things like the windows, radio, locks and other power options. The only thing that works is the dash.

The headlights pop up, Ive never worked on FDs before my other one is just shell. I've been reading different threads and trying to tinker with it but I'm not getting any luck. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...73f8dbe21b.jpg

Is your battery dead? Are your terminals clean?

Yea battery has 12 volts ant the terminals are clean and tight

Did you check under hood fuses? Specifically fuse B2?

Dont know much about FDs, but I would check for 12v at the main fuse under the hood, on both sides, as well as the other fuses.

I would also check continuity between the negative battery terminal, and different main grounds to the body and engine.

If all that checks out you can work your way from the under hood fuse panel.

The fact your not getting voltage to any of the fuses is weird especially if the dash works because without voltage to the main 120amp fuse and the other 60amp fuses you shouldn't be getting anything inside the car as that's the first location the battery positive goes to. Focus on gettin 12v to this box under the hood, once you have try again and see. If your getting 12v and still nothing make sure you check the 2 grey engine harness plugs are plugged in (next to the diagnostics box). Then ensure your starter and alternator wiring is all present, and see if your getting 12v at the starter.

My advice is download the wiring diagram PDF manual and look at the starter circuit diagram and troubleshoot in order of the current from from the battery....follow the flow and eventually you'll get to the location where 12v isn't present and have narrowed down the culprit.
