No fuel from injectors

Hi Guys,

I finished by second rebuild finally, everything seems to be working well except the fact that my injectors are not pulsing. When I go to start the car it cranks just fine but wont start, I checked my spark plugs and they were dry. My fuel pump is working, but the injectors are not pulsing fuel. I'm thinking it may be a grounding issue, but honestly I don't know whats going on. I know the injectors work; and I have tried both the stock ECU and the Adaptronic ECU.

Take a voltemeter and check the primary injector clips when you are cranking. If you do not see anything then trace the wires back to the ecu plug and check there. The injectors are ground switching so the ecu should ground them to fire the injectors.

You can also take a 9v battery to check the injeçtors themselves. Just touch the leads on the injectors when the connector is removed. You'll hear a click when they activate.

I had so ething lime this happen before. I ended up running new wire from the ecu to all four injectors.

Yep, check to make sure your injectors are getting 12v. You can check it on the x05 connector under the dash. It should have 12v running to it with the ignition switches to on.

Make sure everything is plugged in behind the dash in the ecu area. The car will crank regardless if the ecu or some of the other connectors are plugged in or not.

Did you get a new harness? It looks like you have a harness that has the fan recall stuff built in. In that case you can remove the fan recall harness, that will make a lot of that make more sense.

The single spade connector is the test connector, it's normally unplugged.

Remove the recall harness, plug things up, and then see where you're at.

are you sure you have the fuel lines attached correctly? if the feed and return are backwards no fuel will flow through the rails making you think your problem is somewhere else....

Thanks Dale!

The car started right up! I think the PO may have purchased a new engine harness. The PO was such an idiot, pretty much everything on this car was a hack job with no logic behind it. Just a few more things I need to fix that the PO broke and she should be good to go!
