No fuel in engine
 

Hello all,

Just finished my rebuild. Car doesn't start.

Sparks are coming out of the spark plugs.

Spark plugs are dry. No fuel is going into the engine for sure.

Fuel is coming out of one of the hoses when I turn key on. I connected that hose to primary fuel rail and the other (return) out of the secondary fuel rail.

Any guess? I'm lost.

did you connect the injectors to the harness?

-4 injectors connected.
-Green connector between secondaries.
-Black connector under UIM.
-White connector at IAC.
-Grey connector (easy, can't go wrong on that one) at TPS.
-Map sensor connected to UIM.
-CAS (2 connectors) connected.

White cas plug on top? I don't think it will matter honestly but i figured I would ask. At this point you are going to want to make sure fuel it actually getting into the rail to begin with. If you remove an injector and jump the fuel pump for a quick second, you'll know right away. From there it would be a matter of finding it why the injectors aren't firing. In your old post, you would trying to figure out which plugs went to which injectors. Are you 100% sure all that is correct?

-White connector (CAS) on top.
-Primaries/secondaries double-checked: all good.
-Disconnected fuel line that goes from primaries to secondaries: dry. I'm wondering if there should be fuel pressure there when key is turned on... And I'm too scared of removing rear primary injector.

Yes, when you turn the key fuel should prime. I'm pretty sure you have the feed and return in the right place but if fuel is not getting to the injectors then you have to find out where it's being stopped. First thing is to check if the pump is working. If it is then check that fuel is being pumped into the line. If it is then it will make it to the front of the car unless the hard line is smashed or something.

You can try flipping the feed and return lines around and see if that does anything but I think fuel enters through the primary rail.

PROBLEM IS FIXED! Feed line was to secondaries, return to primaries. They were incorrect. Thanks a lot!

excellent.... glad i could help. i guess youre still using the hard line mid section that the firewall soft lines attach to. its easy to follow them and get the path mixed up. i deleted that and ran a nylon braided line straight from the firewall to the rail and fpr.
