Newcomer needing your professional advice
 

Well I've been looking around for a first car to buy lately and my eyes have settled on the rx-7 '93-'94. Only problem is, I don't know much about the car. So I was wondering if you guys could help me out with a few tips. Like, I hear i'm gonna either have to take out the rotary engine after a while or constantly mantain it, i'm not sure which to do. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be making some modifications to it but once again, I don't know where to start. Anything you guys can tell me about this car would be helpful, especially whats a good price that it should go for. Thanks.

OK first and foremost read the newbie links they help alot. Next yes you will probbaly need to replace an orginal motor orrr maintain the new one CONSTANTLY. I got my FD about 2 months ago and no modifications just maintance and A/c reapir Im up to 900$ ( But hey whos keeping count :) ) So just make sure you have the financial backing to maintain the car or it may end up like alot of FD''s under a car cover or in a garage. :(

Yeah, the only thing I can say is to start searching and learn everything you can.

The '93-95 RX-7 can be a very expensive car to own, don't buy it unless you can put aside about $3000 for maintanece and reliability mods.
