Pettit Cool Charge III + Koyo radiator fitment
Can anyone comment on the fitment of the Pettit Cool Charge III intercooler with a Koyo radiator? I know that the extra thickness of the Koyo causes some issues with stock mount IC fitment. Just curious if anyone has installed this combination and can offer some insight.
If I'm going to have to cut stuff up, I'd probably go a different route.

can you elaborate on how you made it fit? The reason I ask is because I’ve seen a few set ups have issues with Koyo + aftermarket SMIC’s when the user just dropped them in without modifying anything.
OP I used to have a set up similar to your but with a fluidyne and it all fit just fine.

Banzai Racing has a good post on installing a Koyo. Big trick here is to get the radiator installed properly, when it's where it should be the intercooler will fit like it should.
Take your time and expect to pull things in and out a few times to get a good fit.

Koyo and a Blitz SMIC here. I had to fumble around with the oil cooler and A/C lines if anything, but it all ended up fitting. I even have the stock crossover duct for smog stealth.
EDIT: Sorry. Your intercooler is much larger than mine. I was thinking of the other pettit smic. Don't forget you will have to relocate the battery too.
Good luck!

I know this thread is about koyo, but I've got a fluidyne and have similar issues. Have had this issue with both Pettit CC3 and M2 large. Thicker rad pushes the duct up, then in order to keep the seal you raise/shim the intercooler, which in turn causes the pipes on the cold side to make contact with the hood braces, and the hood won't close properly or at least has pressure on it. Been meaning to remove the rubber isolators from under the upper rad brackets. That should do the trick. Something about bending the already weak OEM sway mounts doesn't seem like a solution to me.

Interestingly I noticed my radiator seemed to move up slightly after installing wide foot sway bar mounts, which of course support the radiator as well. My duct does not fit the same as others I’ve seen but it does fit and does seal to my intercooler pretty well. I only needed to loosen the drier to squeeze it into place.
A side benefit to the intercooler sitting slightly higher may come in the shape of routing your piping clear of the power steering banjo bolt. Despite mine being raised slightly, I still had to shave down that bolt for everything to fit perfectly.
I have a Pettit CC III duct and CX Racing intercooler, with Koyo radiator.
