"newbie"

I'm new here; No, I don't own an RX-7, but I've driven all three gens. and I was seeking some helpful information from knowledgeable RX-7 enthusiasts. I was curious on the price of a base or touring third gen('92-'95) in stock condition. I don't really want mods or a body kit. I'd much rather tune and mod (although i'm in love with the body of the third gen.)the car myself. I've just turned 18, so I'm finally able to ...buy a car. I've got a Ford Explorer and a Pontiac Sunfire to my name(pathetic, right?) and I'm about to move to Orlando and attend Valencia there. I'm hoping maybe if I trade these in I'll have enough cash to buy a stock third gen, but I'm not really sure on where to go or whom I should buy from. This place looks rather nice and I love the atmosphere. Thanks for any help...it's greatly appreciated.

if you want a good one AKA low miles, you could pay close to 20k.

if it helps, i'm from buffalo, ny and my fd is a 93, and i bought it last summer with 66,000 miles and paid $11,000. To me, this was a fair price seeing as that the car was mechanically sound and only driven about 6000 miles per year and garaged in the harsh buffalo winters. I guess that depending on the mileage of the car, anywhere between $8,000 and $13,000 is good for a 93.

mileage doesn't really matter as long as it's not EXTREMELY high..
and i'd prolly replace the engine in the future anyway..or rebuild it.

I just paid $9800 for my 93. 76K on the clock with a brand new engine in it. Recent paint, and a new radiator.
