Newbie

Heya guys,... Im from down under "New Zealand" and would like to get some info off u guys so any help would be great.

Im currently lookin to buy a 1996 Rx7 gen3, its white, done 75,000 kilometres, recently had turbos reconditioned due to leaking oil problems, blitz nur exhaust, apexi avc-r bst control and rsm, t-timer, blitz bov adjuestable tanabe suspension and its on 18" work rims. The problem is that the owner has mentioned that after its warmed up like after its been driving for awhile it has a wee little problem starting up again, it starts but he said it just takes a little bit longer than usual. Is this normal cos i been told it could be looking at a rebuild. I went for a test drive in it and it went really smooth no lag or anything so yeah, any help?

Cheers guys

The starting problem is a sign of low compression in the engine. Get a compression check and read this thread. Its mandatory for all first timers.

Compression test is a must. Boost test is also a must. I know you said the car has a boost controller, but make sure the turbos are functioning correctly. Other than that it sounds good though.

And welcome to the club :wavey:
