Cool design like the HKS RS that bolts straight to the primary turbo. They're claiming the larger diameter of the intake is a 6hp improvement. Also, it's some sort of aluminum extrusion or something weird, not a casting, so it's lighter than an equivalent cast part. Big bucks though ($500-600). Interesting that it uses the Apexi intake cones.

Thats pretty awesome. I really like that condenser. If I am reading it right it looks like its 39,000 Yen, which converts to about $510.00

I was actually just thinking about running a smaller A/C condenser for my new v-mount setup for improved cooling the other day- this is right up my alley. And if it's around $500, that's not bad at all.

I always thought it would be relatively easy to find a smaller AC condenser in the junkyard, but I've never tried.

A stock condenser from Mazda is $1k FWTW. This looks like a Denso-equivalent unit so will not work with MANA systems because of the different connectors.

Good to see new parts still being produced for this car.

The intake is two stamped pieces welded together. It is very nice, but i do not think it is a new product.

Thats a pretty looking intake, big money though...

My question is, unless my eyes are fooling me, what thermostat housing are they running... It does not look like the S6 one (which have the exchangeable pressure cap 'holder' like how some people rid their cars of the AST and put it on I stead...).

I bought a new condenser for my FD a year or two back, I don't remember it being too pricey. I do have an R2 which is the MANA AC system and not the Nippondenso, there's a price difference between the two. I think it was like $200ish or so.

The thermostat housing is the later style one that has the neck integrated instead of a bolt-on. Does make sense as it removes a point of failure, but makes it harder to eliminate the AST. '95s in the US had a similar thermostat housing, but that one seems to be newer still.
