new rx7 build...NEED INPUT
 

ok, so without boring anyone i'll give a quick intro. four years ago i purchased a highly modified fd and didnt know a THING about cars in general...the only motorsport that ever caught my attention was drifting and that was back 6-7 years ago. well, so this fd explodes on me and i decided to get into 240's and vowed never to own anything other then an sr20. 4 years later i've soaked up as much knowledge as i could about engines and builds and have learned alot. i've built multiple track cars and currently have my most recent build (widebody sil80) up for sale. anyway, i've decided i want a re-match with rotaries and decided to build an fd for next seasons car. i've been doing my research and came up with an engine plan based on what i want (330-350whp/very quick response and low end power). reliability is an issue due to the rigors of drifting. with that if you guys can throw some input on this setup and recommend anything or just throw some input on weak spots of the chassis that would be GREATLY appreciated. (i already have a rotary builder who will be doing the job and have personally seen his work) but i just want some expertise on the following engine setup...

engine rebuild:
-oem 2mm apex seals
-apex seal springs
-corner seals
-corner seal springs
-side seals/side seal springs
-rotor bearings
-oil control metal rings/springs/o-rings
-inner/outter water jacket o-rings
-all the remaining misc gaskets/seals
-street port
-drill out oil galleries (in theory it would provide greater lubrication...yea or nea)
-stainless steel metering lines
-aluminum air seperator tank
-oem thermostat/water pump
-ngk wires/plugs
-o2 sensor

engine performance:
-non sequential or sequential twins (i'm worried if i stay sequential i'll max out the turbos later on in the powerband...if i run non sequential wouldn't that extend them a little bit due to the slower spool...but at the same time whats the average for 15psi on non sequential twins? either way they'll be getting rebuilt)
-heat wrap turbos
-larger oil cooler
-koyo radiator with electric fans and silicone hoses
-down pipe
-exhaust
-intake kit
-fuel pump
-apexi power fc 0r aem ems
-front mount intercooler kit with piping
-stainless steel exhaust manifold (i figure it will have lower temps then the cast iron unit...i'm assuming they make them for stock twins)
-fc 1000 ignition amplifier (overkill or insurance policy?)
-turbo y pipe
-catch can/blow off valve (possibly run it re circulated)
-electronic boost controller
-spec stage 2+ clutch

I don't understand...Would'nt your engine builder be able to tell you about the set up you are planning? You guys (drifters) are in the high rpm range alot so a little more lag with the non-sequential set up should be o.k. Your set up sounds fine to me (I don't know much though). I would probably go with a v mount set up instead of a front mount though.

i have been referred to someone and seen that persons work. i havent spoken to him in detail yet and i'd like to get some opinions and a ballpark of what i'm after first and foremost.

you will have to run the stock exhaust manifold for the stock twins, nobody makes an aftermarket

I agree V-mounts are much better for the track front mounts tend to bring up the water temps.
