New to Rotary and new here but need some advice
 

I am new to rotary & new here but I need some advice.
My Dad is a turbo guru and turbo manufacturing guy.
I can have any turbo in this earth that exist....No exaggeration this is true!.
I asked him to make me a T4 super 70 turbo so I can do a single turbo. He told me that stay with a current turbo and learn more about the rotary. I've been driving this car a month. I want more power! My car is pure stock.
My dad said, find the next upgrade with stock turbo that can boost a little bit. He said I will be happy because the car will be dependable and balance power. He will help me buy whatever chip or fixed upgrade ECU that can boost other than stock boost.
I am insisting going to single turbo but he is reluctant to help me with this due to reliability issue. He said, once I do single turbo, I will be spending endless of dough also upgrading the rest of the stock parts such as clutch,
cooling system, drivetrain and such.
Can you tell me what ECU or chip out there that can give me an upgrade other than a stock boost?
Do you think I should go to this route?

I'm gonna give you the answer that you are not going to like: Listen to your father, he knows what he is talking about.

You cannot just bolt on more parts or simply turn up the boost on this car to get more power. Before you begin anything you should inderstand the limitations of the rotory. You will want to do the reliability mods first, to make sure you can keep the engine that you have. Does the car have a boost gauge? A downpipe? What condition are the vac hoses in?

Jim LaBreck recently posted an excellent article on a good guide to upgrading this car. Go find this article (someone got a link?). Then go back and read it again. Make sure that you understand where he is coming from.

any turbo you want!!!! dam can I borrow your dad!!

Well, I just bought a boost gauge and noticed that the car is boosting between 8 to 10 psi. I also bought a downpipe piece and deleted my primary cat and stayed
with my main cat and muffler...,that's all I got.
I want a little bit more power or boost other than the one I am seeing right now. What can I do to boost at least 12 to 14psi without doing any internal modifications?
This is where my dad is trying to discourage me.

Don't boost over 12psi or you'll be wishing your Dad was a rotary engine rebuilder. I have a feeling you would end up wrapped around a tree first, tho.

First off, your dad is offering you some very very good advice. I would take it to heart. Secondly, with a Pfc (ECU) and a few bolt ons you will be damn near as fast as a single turbo, if not just as fast.
Start with a few bolt ons, learn about the car, modify as you go, so to speak. By the time you have acquired all the bolt ons, (additional fuel, exhaust, ECU..etc. you will better prepared to go single, and it will be an easier leap.)

P.S. I am assuming you have taken care of all your reliability mods, but if not you should do these first.

hey, i had the same question a year ago but now guess what, im breaking in a new engine because of that extra power. if you do some research, there are a lot of people getting 320-350 with the twins to the wheels. its just some bolt-ons and your set. i really doubt that you need the 450rwhp like some people are making here. i wanted that too but you will soon realize that its no joke putting that much power to the wheels since you cant control it and will not have any traction. for example, jesuscookies is putting down near 370 and he has no traction in 2nd with 275's in the back.
