New reman. not running so well...
 

New guy with little rotary experiance needs help, lets start there.
1993 RX7, low miles, had attemped a conversion to non-sequencial, crossed fuel lines and was told "Dummy, you've blown the front Apex seal!", pulled and replaved engine with factory reman., started OK but not running well, very rich and extremely hot exhaust with fire exiting the exhaust (continuiously) even after a short test drive. Where can I find help on:
1. Exactly how the fuel lines are to be connected (clearer than manual drawing).
2. How and which solenoids should be disconnected (if not all, which is presently
the case).

Car has:
Straight downpipe, mid-cat, Apexi muffler
#7 & #9 plugs
Block-off plate kit
Solenoids left connected but all hoses gone

I would appreciate any advice you could offer.

Ok, well now im not so sure. The non-sequential mod has been done and I saw that the solenoids were kept on but not hooked up. When I did mine, I threw some resistors in. If he has the FPR solenoid bypassed but it is still hooked up electrically, will that cause the car to get two different readings and run extremely rich?

sounds like you may have bad primary injector o ring.

You are joking right? What does the non-seq conversion have anything to do with the FPR? Why did you even touch the FPR?

It says on THIS forum to put resistors in ALL soleniods and bypass the FPR to the LIM.

I have done several vacuum hose jobs, and sequential vacuum hose simplifications, every time i have bypassed the FPR solenoid, and had no problems at all. Some say that the car will run rich at idle.

not rich at idle but it wont increase the fp during a hot restart. vapor lock and idle quality were a concern in stock form

what ecu are you running? please don't say stock.....

switched the Pettit and stock out and still the same problem.
