that fd is low! What coilovers did you go with?

crcleofdst 11-07-06 06:21 PM

tein ss. It needs to come up a bit, but I havent had time to drive it, let alone set the ride height.

+1. They will make a big difference. Hey, I spoke to Lamont and he said he wants his father's truck back!

dude, you are supposed to preset the height prior to installing your coilovers with a dial caliper... to each thier own

RE-Amemiya 11-07-06 08:28 PM

Yeah, that's really low.

NAN777 11-07-06 09:04 PM

that is LOW..... i used to have that height... it's -25 MM low down.
terrible to get around.. very bad scratch at the bottom on speed bumps.

if urs is adjustable, push it higher by 15 MM. easier to drive around and better cornerring as well :)

Davin 11-07-06 09:34 PM

yeah, i always did the tennis ball trick... if it cannot roll under, then you need to set it accordingly

It is really too low. especially in the back. Maybe this weekend I will have some time to raise it up a bit. Id like to get some 18's on it, but Ive decided to funnel the majority of my extra cash into the truck.

and I did set the ride height prior to installing. I just set it way too low.

It looks like a redneck farm truck now, but give me a few years!
