I dont see the need for a search button on that website since there isnt that much content. If you really need to search the whole page, click on the specific section youre interested in and press control+F on your keyboard.

Juan 01-13-07 05:37 AM

Have you thought about organizing things a little more? Maybe something like categorizing the how-to's by Engine, Interior, Suspension, Exterior, blah blah blah. This way if someone is looking for a how-to for installing a racing seat, they can just click on the FD section and then click on Interior.

Look into buying a domain name. Theyre pretty cheap nowadays. It will make it easier for people to find your website. Great site btw.

Luke_Tech 01-13-07 02:23 PM

i am looking at buy a domain name here sometime in the future, and the sup category's is a good idea that something i've been thinking about also

Luke_Tech 01-13-07 03:02 PM

page has been updated, looks a little more professional now, let me know what you guys think!!!!

Meant only as constructive criticism ;)

- Homepage, keep all the cars in one row...scrolling sucks.
-Keep links consisten, red underline or whiteunderline, but don't mix ;)
-Rename Comments and suggestions to "email me" as really that's all it is...and with your email exposed like that, be prepared to filter the spam... :(

-I would take of the borders around the images on the Image downloads or give a uniform padded border that's the same width/heighth for all...

Looks good!

I beg to differ, using "control f" is great in certain circumstances, however, if I wanted to run a search in every category on a specific word, I'd much rather have a database to do the work for me instead of "control f'ing" each page (sub categories)

How many times have you used the search feature on these forums? Now think about if that wasn't available; good luck finding any info...

Although the site is fairly small as it is, it'll help in the long run (assuming the site grows). Just something to think about...

eld101 03-11-07 12:43 PM

DMoneyRX-7 03-11-07 12:50 PM

it would be cool if they were all new write-ups instead of links to already existing ones that I have read over a thousand times. Some stuff I haven't seen though. Put my how to clean/brighten the UIM I think alot of people would think it's awesome

Here is the link https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...n+brighten+uim

Luke_Tech 03-11-07 06:35 PM

thanks for the info man, and also if anyone else has links they would like to be added, just hit the contact me button and send me an email with what gen its for and the link that would be great. or this work also!!!
