New car pics

Hi all,
I just got my car back from the shop after 6 months of waiting for parts to trickle in. I know lots of people here hate Veilside, so try not to flame too harshly. Thanks.

Dude it's your car. If you like it then more powa to you.

I do not have an opinion on the doors. I would have to see them in person. That is they are sturdy then cool, if they seem like they are just hanging there (cheaply done) then not cool.

I just can't get over the veilside bumper and the wing. The rest is cool.

I think it looks nice, I love the scoot hood tho! :)

JonesersRX7 06-10-04 06:38 PM

eh... hopefully you get sick of the veilside. Silver with red leather... stock?

rynberg 06-10-04 06:48 PM

:(

Ingraham 06-10-04 06:57 PM

Looks good. Is it easy to get in and out with those doors?

diablone 06-10-04 07:17 PM

I've never seen all the most-gaudy parts out there put together in one package.

monster-RX7 06-10-04 07:25 PM

silylanjie 06-10-04 07:28 PM

rx7raca 06-10-04 07:40 PM

Raziel 06-10-04 07:58 PM

To each their own. I like your doors though. :D

rx7raca 06-10-04 08:14 PM

Verticaldoors.com makes the hinges. The doors are a little cumbersome to use, though. They lift up easily and the hinges feel pretty sturdy. The gas shocks are pretty impressive, considering they have to lift all that weight.
When closing the door, though, the latch has to be lined up just right, or it won't catch right. Kind of a pain.
It would be hard to recommend them for daily use.

Cost was $1600 plus a few hundred for installation

a working FD is always sweet, but i'd say go with the 99 spec wing, nice ride

Not bad, sliver color looks good with veilside kits but not others color can work well.
Its your perference.

SiKoPaThX 06-11-04 11:20 AM

Okay you're right. The veilside...eh. BUT Your volks, Scoot hood, RE lights, Fmic, the doors all rock! I'm also the biggest sucker for red interior.

For the love of Christ, why do people continue to put the C1 kit on their car....C2 I can deal with, but the C1 has to be the most assinine, atrocious looking body kit not only for FDs, but any car

Lose the spoiler, front, and hood and your car would be a beaut.
