I have had my copy for a few years now.

vudoodoodoo 02-08-03 06:15 PM

Me want...

Chaz 02-08-03 06:47 PM

I've also had a copy of this for a couple of years. I think it's a pretty good coffee table book and would recommend it to this group.

paypal's so easy it's sinful.

ttb 02-08-03 08:15 PM

Manntis 02-08-03 08:20 PM

Normally $45-$50? Dang!

Ah well. I set my price and I stand by it: $25 plus shipping *overdramatic sigh* :)
(fair price for forum members, yes?)

good deal on the book. Its a really good book with lots of pictures and more about the development of the 3rd gen.. many pictures of prototypes and sketches etc. A good book, especially for that price!

FULLofDreams 02-08-03 11:27 PM

Hi, great deal on the book. I don't have a pay-pal account, but would you take a money order? Please let me know, and if its possible, send me a PM. I love the RX-7 and I really would like to own this book! Thanks.

Goober 02-09-03 12:01 AM

Heck yeah that book is a good price. I bought one of those a long time ago and I think I shelled out $50 for it. If you dont have that thing pick it up!!! Well worth it and alot of great pictures in there and good reading material.

xstacy7 02-09-03 12:16 AM

Hey Manntis, when I try to order the book it just sends me to paypal's webpage. I have an account with paypal but I don't know who to send it to. Can you let me know who, thanks

rxrotary2_7 02-09-03 10:40 AM

yeah, that book is not new at all. i bought 6 coppies for $100 a few years ago...

Sled Driver 02-09-03 11:05 AM

I bought a three copies on eBay a couple of years ago. It was a multiple item auction & I paid $12 ea. +$5 to ship the whole works ($41). They make great Christmas gifts :D

The list price is something like $44.98.

Your $25 price is very reasonable, you'll sell all of them at that price.

Nice to see your not greedy (like some floor mat person) & price them instead at $125, claiming they are the last ones in existence :p:

Manntis 02-09-03 12:41 PM

When you get sent to paypal's webpage it should be the shopping cart section, with my email already set. If for some reason it's defaulting to paypal.com home page for ya, send the $30 to info@rotorhead.ca

an important thing to know about www.rotorhead.ca is - it isn't really a store. I just got tired of looking all over the net for RX-7 stuff, so I contacted a bunch of suppliers and put them all in one place. You pay me via paypal, I send the order to the supplier, and they ship right to you. It's not about making money so much as helping fellow rotorheads get the stuff they want at reasonable prices :)

RonKMiller 02-10-03 09:33 AM

Make that 32.:D

That's a great price, and any FD3S enthusisast needs to have one. It's going to sit right next to my Guggehheim
Motorcycle Museum book in the LIVING ROOM, and I don't care if it pisses off my wife!

Manntis,

Just wanted to say that your website is very easy to navigate. I'll have to check out the Gear Girls Gallery later (after work). hahahahhaa

Also, the book is excellent. I purchased mine over one year ago and I still flip through it every so often.

aReX-7 02-10-03 12:17 PM

I'm in. I've been wanting one of those for awhile now.

Jeff
