Needing Tie Rod
 
ok whell i went and got new tires today and when i was going to get an alinment they told me that the driver side tie rod is bad and thats why its wearing the inside of that 1 tire. so anyone know where i can get a new one or if they have a high performance one or something.. i dont know to much about it

Napa Auto Parts or Malloy mazda.

I bought a pair from Napa still new in the box 2 years ago about $20 per. My problem wasn't the tie rod but the rack and pinion assembly. So I can't tell you if it sucks. Quality? looks like a tie rod.

i think they sell tie rods and tie rod ends. I think the ends are more subject to play.

Its just called a tie rod right? no tie rod in or out is there or am i getting confused with something else

There is an inner tie-rod and outter tie-rod. The outter tie-rod is obviously the one that slips into the spindle, the inner is obviously the one that goes into the rack and pinion.
