Need some guidence...
Brought a used set of turbos off here that were in good condition and low miles. Took mine off replaced all gaskets and exhaust bolts. I tightened everything to spec via mazda manual. And put everything back together and added coolant and oil if needed. Went to start car and started up but wouldnt stay running but for a few seconds and from somewhere around the oil pan leaked about pint of oil. I couldnt find where it came from at all. Went through and rechecked everything that i took off and everything was good. Im lost i need some guidence on what else i can do to fix thanks...

oil feed to and from turbo ???
|
checked no leaks on the whole right side of the motor.

Did you make sure that all the fittings on the new turbos were tight?
|
What about the oil return line for the secondary? That was my problem on re-assembly. Couldn't see it from above and once I got under the car I found the culprit. The nuts were never tightened
|
i checked both oil lines return lines no leaks and the nuts are tight. what would cause it not to start though?

How long was the car down for?
Did you knock anything loose? If you are dripping oil fix the leak first then try again. There is something you missed somewhere, just stay patient. |
Those oil pipes are pretty sensitive to dirt or bad gaskets. I would buy all new oil line gaskets and copper o-rings and install them. Make sure to wipe the flange faces perfectly clean.
