Need to install my harness... where?
 

Where would be the proper location to bolt this suckers down??
saw some people tie em on rear strut tower bar.. would that be good???

From what I understand the best place to bolt them down is the rear strut bar. With that said, the stock one is not strong enough to install it there safely. M2 and Rotary Extreme have upgraded rear strut bars that are pre-tapped so you can bolt the harnesses right in and the they are strong enough to hold you and a passenger safely in place in the event of a crash.

My assumption is always anyone with a harness actually plans to use it properly. This means wrapping it around the stock rear strut bar is plainly stupid. Wrapping it around any strut bar for that matter is plainly stupid. If it's a 4, 5 or 6 point harness buy a harness bar from M2. I know Rotary Extreme has one but until I see pics of where the ends attach to the strut towers I can't see if it's built solidly. If that large bar is just stuck in the stock brackets and bolted to the strut tower it won't be sufficient.

If it's a 3 point harness you can mount the shoulder straps to one of the strut tower bolts on the drivers side rear strut tower. This does leave the shoulder straps slightly to the left and is not ideal.

Best solution is a proper harness bar.

I had problems with the M2 harness bar. I'd go with the Rotary Extreme. The M2 bar I got had the powdercoating too thick, and two of the holes were drilled too close to the bar so that you couldn't fit the nut on the end of the strut bolt. Also, the RE one (I believe) allows you to use a hatch cover still.
