Need help with solving two problems
 

My first problem might be that my turbos are soon dead. My IC pipes are full of oil and my dump valve is spitting oil.

My second problem is that my car is overheating. When running it hard it goes to the high mark pretty fast. I can only do 4 laps at my local track before it overheats. It might be my radiator that's gloged or that it might not get enough air flow. I have a FMIC and a third OC mounted underneath the radiator and the FMIC.

With that much oil coming out of the turbos, they have to be hurting pretty bad. This is assuming that all of the oil lines to the turbos are hooked up correctly, and those aren't leaking.

As far as the overheating, the stock radiator is really small, and if you block airflow to it with a FMIC, then it would probably not be sufficient, expecially for track style driving.

I would say flush the radiator, to see if thats it, and maybe get a lower temperature thermostat (the one from the Miata MX-5 is 180F) to try to keep temps down. But upgrading is the best route.

Oil

Make sure you have plenty of it, and cool it as best you can.

I have noticed extreme differences in coolant temps when I am running low on oil, and if you are pushing out as much oil as it sounds (can't see pics so I can't tell for sure) then you may be running low. If you stock gauge is moving to hot then I hope you stop driving it on the track for a while. You need to fix it. I would install the second oil cooler and ducting if you have not already, and you should really look at closing off any holes between your IC and radiator so that you can at least divert the heated IC air through the radiator. With your 99 spec bumper you may have some serious gaps.
Try running the mobile one oil, it seems that people have noticed a significant affect on cooling. (for the better)

Do you have a switch rigged up to run your fans on high whenever you'd like? If not, pull the a/c relay from under the hood (driver's side), and when you turn the a/c on and the interior fans on, your underhood fans will run on high.

from what you are saying, you are GOING to pop that motor very soon if you continue to have an overheating problem. coolant seals DO NOT last in that environment. do whatever you need to to fix that problem asap or a complete rebuild will be on your to do list. also, get an aftermarket temp guage in there asap so you can see what your actual temps are (or if you have/get a pfc you can see coolant temps on the commander)

GoodfellaFD3S no i dont have a switch for the fans, but im going to make one. One that i can oweride tha fans when i like, but still will work on the auto mode when im not on the track.

legal-z pfc? i need some help there, do u mean a boost controller. if so i have teh Greedy Profec E-01.

sorry, i mean an apexi power fc, which is a fuel management system that plugs into your stock ecu outlet w/some slight modifications to the pins. also, i believe turning on your driving lights will allow your fans to come on at a lower temp than normal (rich/goodfella can confirm this). may help until you get the fan mod done.

legal-z k, i don't plan on doing a PFC. Im getting a new motor frome Re-Amemiya this winter and maybe doing a new twin turbo setup. Or maybe a singel turbo. Not sure yet. But i will then uppgrade my fuel managment and do bigger injetors and fuel pump.

But that's for the winter time :)

i believe you just need to drive with your parking lights on and nothing else.

(2) They're too seperate things...... this will allow you to run the fans whenever you want, even if your coolant temps are only 150.

Hmm i vill try that a/c thing with the fans. have remowed the a/c relay eny way so let's try it.

i just got word that i will be getting "new" turbos next week. Gonna pull them from a broken rex.

And i also cleand my radiator yesterday and it took alot longer for it to overheat. So it worked but still need a new one.

Sounds like you have your priorities way out of line. Do you honestly give a shit about running your a/c at the track if it'll save you from overheating? You do know that overheating even once can ruin your motor, right?

I have actualy removed the a/c cooler infront of the radiator. I will put the a/c back later, but will ned to relocate it somwhere els. Gonna do that later. My first pri is to get better water cooling so that i don't overheat eny more, no matter how many laps i go.


Oh and one thing i was wondering about, when i get a new motor this winter, im gonna change turbos. And i wan't to stay sequential. Iv'e read about some Twin turbo kitts beeing made in the us now. Eny news on this?
