Need help with replacing tail-light bulb!!

I've studied the mechanics of this car for a long time but never knew how hard the lighting repairs were. Ok I know it's a minor problem but I've only had the car for 2 days and I don't want to break a bracket or rip out a wiring harness or break the whole damn tail-light into pieces, so please help. I'm trying to change the tail-light bulb on the drivers side. I've tried...I removed the triangle shaped black plastic piece that's above the bulbs in the trunk. I removed two screws and now what? Do I pull hard, because it feels like everything will just break. It doesn't look like you can get to them from behind because all I see is metal. Please help. Thanks. :wallbash: :MissileSm

I know that member KMAR tried to help me out but I guess I'm too dumb to follow what I needed to do.

slide them out away from the car.

do a search...removing the tail lights have been freaking out new members for years.

Thanks, I think I found what I needed. Sorry about that, I forgot about doing a search and just got anxious to post again I guess :)

HAHA.......yeah made me laugh...and think back to when I bought my FD, and after I took everything apart just standing there staring at these lights and wondering if there was some magic phrase to make them detach themselves from the damn car.

Just slide them outward bud.
