need help making a decision...

I'm about to do my single turbo (finally) and i can't decide which turbo to go with. I'm gunning for the larger range, so the a'pex-i offerings and similar sizes are kind of out of the question. I'm really liking the A-Spec GT40R setup, but a t78 or t88 isnt entirely out of the question either. Any suggestions? I already did a search, maybe I missed something though, so feel free to send me a link and flame me a bit. My hp goal is about 440-450hp on pump gas, but i want to be in the upper 500 range on race fuel. I will have all the requesite fuel/ignition mods as well so that is no worry, and i'm running a street port 3mm motor. Thanks!!!

What are you planning to do with the car? When choosing a turbo, it is always a trade off for lag vs. power. If you are drag racing, I would say go with a T78, they are resonably priced and has been proven to make the power you are looking for. If you are planning on tracking the car, I would go with the A-spec, this turbo will have less lag but should still get you near your goal.

Head over to the SINGLE TURBO section... there are about 4 good threads that are going on right now.
