NEED HELP!!: flashing airbag light and non functioning horn

I was recently fiddling with the panels on my steering column and my gauge cluster. Now my horn doesnt work and my airbag light on my gage cluster flashes four times and pauses constantly. I looked around and didnt notice any loose wires, but im guessing i may have overlooked something? Any on have any suggests on how to get my horn functioning and getting the annoying flashing airbag light to stop.

yuo may need a clock spring. go back in and on the air bag connector (orange& blue) there is a little side pannel that must be slid to the opposite possition it is in now. this has to be done with the connector apart, then reconnect them. do yourself a favor a disconnect the battery before doing any of the above work.

Check the connections to the clock spring as stated above. Since you were just working on this area then I'd guess a connection is your problem.

OK ill take a look this evening. That explains the flashing airbag light but what about the horn? are these 2 unrelated issues?

Well, consider that both your horn and your airbag are in the exact same area. That would probably lead you to believe that the issues are related. Check your connections (because that's honestly what's probably wrong), and report back. Since most of the stuff that's in the dash and gauge cluster area is packed in sorta tight, there's the distinct possiblity that you either disconnected something intentionally and forgot to reconnect, or that you inadvertently disconnected something, and consequently wouldn't know that it needed reconnecting.
