Need HELP!!! connecting hoses for NS, and connecting other stuff
4 Attachment(s)
hey guys.... I need some help connecting some vac hoses for a non-seq setup.
I also need some help connecting some other little things like fuel lines and the oil lines... i think i am going in the right direction.... also what is the thing under the oil sensor in the last pic on the right??? If someone could also help me identify what wires can be taken out of the engine harness, that would also help... thanks |
Will the single turbo harness mod work with the NS setup???
|
in the last pic are you talking about the coolant barb fitting?

First picture, You need something similar to the primary intake elbow, at lease something with a vacuum nipple you can run a line on and T-off so you can use the OMP
Second Picture, It looks like that is the coolant line that is *supposed* to run from the back of the block to the TB, and back down to the WP housing. This can be connected to what you are pointing at in picture 3, follow these steps towards the end http://robrobinette.com/throttle_body_coolant.htm, generally there is a hard line under the TB that runs across the top of the block back to the WP, you can get away with just running it directly since the top of your engine is practically naked. Fifth Pic. I believe that is one of the coolant lines for the turbos, but check the FSM to be sure Looking at the hard pipes from the drivers side fuel lines run Left-pressure, center/top-charcoal canister, Right-Fuel Return. That being said, use your head and route it correctly, primaries first, etc. as for the last two pics, I'm not sure, and frankly its midnight where I'm at and I don't feel like trying to figure it out right this second. Regardless, you need the primary turbo elbow, there is nowhere else in the intake system that has constant vacuum regardless of RPM/boost. You may be able to redneck something up for a replacement, but it seems you will need 2 4mm vacuum nipples on whatever it is you use for that primary intake. |
