Need Help!

i took my 93 rx7 for an oil change one morning, my dad went to pick it up when it was done and as he was leaving the shop he says it started bucking on him in second gear. i drove it and did the same thing. on first gear it doesnt drive to smooth but in secound gear it gets worse. getting up to 2500 rpm it feels like the car wants to turn of so i let of the gas. i cant pick it up more then 2500 rpm without it doing this. the car has 105k and i have only put 2k on it since i have had it. i changed the oil, oil filter, spark plugs, and spark plug cables when i got the car. the car has a koyo radiator, intake, down pipe, high flow cat and cat back. im not sure what the problem is. i would appreciate any help! thanks.

Check the MAP sensor hose. It's right above the oil filter.

what else would cause this problem. i have not changed the fuel filter yet. could that cause this problem? or is it possible that my map sensor is bad?

Pull codes and see if anything is stored. Also, check any connections near/around the oil filter (like the TPS).

Map sensor doesn't have anything to do with electric does it. I have the same bucking symptoms, and once the car dies, I have no eletrical power. It's probably the alternator and/or bad battery.

The map sensor is electric...it sends a signal to the ECU. It won't cause you to have loss of electrical power.

Yeah, I didn't think so.
