Need everyones help on this.

I took my gauge cluster out and installed white faced gauges. Now my tach and gas gauge do not work. when I turn my lights on the needles do not light up. I have checked all the connections several times and all are fine. the temp and oil pres. work fine. All my fuses are fine. I have a Momo s/wheel so I got rid of the airbag. Here is my guess. I was getting sick of having the airbag light flashing all the time so I took the bulb out. I'm thinking there is a current that goes to all that other stuff that requires that bulb to be there. Does this sound right? on the grid there is a circuit that goes to the light and winds all over. This is all I can come up with.

Your time is appreciated

Double and tripple check you install, also look for a blown fuse.

All the posts lately about guage cluster install disaters makes me want to keep my stockers.

Without the airbag light in place you should hear a beeping sound instead of the blinking light. I know because I did the same thing. Put the light back in, it's a whole lot less annoying than the beeping.

The circuitry on the back of the gauges is rather delicate, and a bit fussy. Did you notice how the little plastic tabs have to be inserted into the holes that the harnesses snap into? Take the cluster back off and make sure you didn't tear the plastic sheet that serves as the circuitry for the gauges, and make sure it's all still alligned correctly.
