Unbolt p/s and a/c compressor from car and leave em in then engine bay, throttle cable, cruise control, exhaust. And more importantly unplug your ecu from inside the car and push it through the fire wall

You should have definitely purchased the Rotary Aviation video prior to attempting your engine removal. The old adage of 'fail to plan, plan to fail' comes to mind....
There is SO little room to work and SO many things that have to happen in a specific order to keep from making your removal a living hell....I shudder to think. You poor bastard. There are about a dozen threads on this, some of them you have to sort thru to get the good information. Also, you can simply look at the Factory Service Manual that is online via the Forum and it gives you a step by step procedure that works well, especially if you do the wire harness out thru the firewall as kuroi said. Good luck! |
work on it people...

well everything has been done. the only trouble is having the engine d/c from the tranny. everythings off the engine hoist is on it. There's space between the engine and tranny, they're separating but they're not coming apart.

You have to seperate the pull clutch first. You'll destroy it if you don't.
