When you say "plug up the holes on either side", wouldn't this fill in the gap used to pull air for stock modified airboxes or most other modified intakes? I was reading about reliability modifications and one said to fill in the gaps below and to either side of the radiator, but I haven't been able to find any worth filling in...

Try what someone else mentioned before....put a light underneath the car and look into the mouth of the front fascia. If you see light coming through a hole, then plug it up!
Of course, if you've set up your intake to take air from the front, leave that open. I'll be setting up my cold air to come from the 2nd oil cooler would normally sit, since I don't have an R1/R2. Good luck. |
Thanks. One more question that may be stupid, does that include filling in the holes in the bellypan, or are those actually the holes people are talking about? Maybe it'll make more sense when I'm actually looking at the car.
