Mystery Wire...Your thoughts

Ok this may seem like a dumb one, but I have a wire that is connected, but the end is broke off from somewhere else that I cannot find. This is on the driver side coming from down from around the coil pack wiring harness near the steering coupler. Hope this pic helps. Maybe a bright rotorite can enlighten me as to...what is this wire and what is it for and more importantly where it goes :) THANKS!!

That's easy....it's the oil level sensor wire ( blue ).

If I remember correctly, the wire isn't broken off, it was never there.

And to badddrx-7's point, in the engine bay you should be able to trace the wire to what it's connected to and you'll have your answer.

LOL :) I knew I would get heat for this one, but thanks! Report: Well I didn't drive the car for almost 2 years, but once I got it back up and running I changed the plugs and noticed "this" wire broken from somewhere. Yes, I tried tracing it to the source, but it must be broken at the source so it's not an easy one to trace and its been awhile since I changed a rotary engine so within the last couple of months I have had to reacquaint myself with under the hood. I figured when I swapped the twins for the single (which is what I have been doing recently) I would figure it out then.

Let me Preach....please bare with me...If thou shall own an FD then thou shall also own a green shop manual along with. Thou shall never allow the FD to master the owner, thus the owner fall into the pits of rotary madness. Thou shall own the green manual and become the master of the FD.

Now onward to some serious troubleshooting....next ?
