Interesting Battery placement

rx7italy 06-14-07 12:01 PM

the kit repalce the a/c, battery and power sterring lines....

Pred 06-14-07 12:20 PM

Beautiful. I heard they have fitment issues with the Koyo radiator though?

rx7italy 06-14-07 01:10 PM

i never see a pic of this combo....

nobody have a dyno result with my some mods....i'm interessed to torque level...

AHarada 06-14-07 02:53 PM

Wow I am jealous. Very nice setup. You have a very clean engine bay. Can we get a pic from the front bumper to get an idea of the ducting from the bottom? You would probably get a lot better air flow if you have ducting on the top, and some kind of vented hood.

rx7italy 06-14-07 02:56 PM

...next week i take this pics for you...

I also noticed that you relocated your coolant overflow tank. What is the reasoning behind this?

rynberg 06-14-07 03:08 PM

That's not his car.....he got the photo from somewhere else.

They relocated the tank to make room for the intakes. It could be done differently (and better IMO). The HKS kit completely seals in the rad and IC and uses a horizontal splitter that you can adjust to control the air each cooler sees. It's a very nice design and I love that it keeps a 51R size battery in the engine bay.

hi moderator....

so....like i sayd in a thred about hks intake....i buy intercooler....now i haven't problem about air flow to stock i/c....so, if you know this set up, have see some dyno?

NAN777 06-15-07 02:20 AM

it's really more interesting on how they mount the coolant bleed tank and the AST....probably they use a smaller coolant tank from other car instead of our long neck ones.

spiritrmazda 06-15-07 08:26 AM

Nice, still debating on my intercooler set up.

FD3S2005 06-15-07 08:58 AM

whell who evers car that is in the pic looks like they forgot that rubber part for their suspension

RX7LINK 06-15-07 12:43 PM

Very nice!!! :icon_tup:

I love how only HKS vmount uses your existing radiator... which lets you keep your fluidyne or whichever brand you have.
