Yes and no.

The blow off valve looks to be hooked up correctly. I cant tell were you are getting your vacuum source from though.

The charge relief valve should not be plugged like you have in the second picture. Unless you are running your twins in parallel then it might not matter.

BlouZbee 04-06-07 11:48 AM

what kind of BOV is that?

That is a TurboXS BOV. I think that particular model is only good up to 10PSI though.

RE-Mamamia 04-06-07 01:29 PM

if the valve shouldnt be plugged, then what goes there?

FourtyOunce 04-06-07 01:33 PM

nothing .. it just dumps air out.

You can leave it open. A lot of guys put a mini K & N filter on there to reduce the risk of getting contaminated air back into the system.

rynberg 04-06-07 01:41 PM

Are you guys sure that's the charge relief and not the stock blow off valve?

And it's difficult to make things out from the pictures because they're zoomed in so bloody far... :)

I agree.

RE-Mamamia, see if you can take some pictures from further out or at least a series of pictures showing the plumbing for the new BOV and what you did with the old stock BOV.

RE-Mamamia 04-06-07 01:47 PM

ok, there's another picture that should tie everything toether. Thanks for your help!

You can see in the top picture the location of the valve. Unless it is hooked in some unusual way, it is working as the charge relief valve.

Do you know if this is a non-sequential set-up?

RE-Mamamia 04-06-07 02:02 PM

stock turbo setup

If it is sequential, then you need to have the charge relief valve (the brown one) uncapped.
