moving condensor

have you noticed... if you have your rad in the stock location, that the condensor is blocking a lot of fresh air?? all that air could go to the rad if condensor is relocated. anybody done this?? feedback would be appreciated. thanks guys.

actually i think i am going to just take it out all together that way the air gets right to the rad. am i right??

If you don't use your A/C then take it out. In theory it should allow your rad to be more efficient.

Because of the positioning of radiator (angled), it relies more on ducted airflow management than it does direct airflow (this is why so many people who don't have the underbelly tray--and seal off any open areas around the radiator so that airflow can't escape--have overheating problems; that big plastic piece is important for airflow purposes). The actual amount of airflow being "blocked" by the condensor is probably pretty minimal; its straight fin/tube design doesn't create a whole lot of area that blocks the air from getting to the radiator.

If you still feel it creates a problem, you might as well take it off rather than reposition it.

I'm with Kento...Its about a centimeter thick. People put a 5 inch thick apexi FMIC in front of their radiators and get away with it...But if you don't use it, by all means gt rid of it along with all the other AC stuff.

can i remove just the condenser or do i have to remove everything else related to a/c as well??
