mounting diffuser?
 

where are the proper mounting points on a diffuser for the fd? i have tossed around the idea making my own from fiberglass and id like to know where others are mounted at and or braced so it doesnt fly off at 80mph

go to shine auto's forum. and look at their diffuser thread. there's a few different kind. Mounting points need brackets and some other attachments. Probably won't be able to slap it on like you do with the undertray in the front.

yes please link us!! im interested!! i think i know how id mout it on the sides and near the rear end.. but near the bumper im unsure how id do that without putting screws directly into the bumper.. unless thats what your supposed to do.

as long as you have your brackets secured tightly to parts of the chassis/rear bar, you should be right.

kewl.. as soon as i get moved into my new place, im going to bust out the tigerhair and start molding a diffuser :-) wish me luck!!
