Motor problems

Hello to all from Spain, recently I have acquired a Rx-7 of the 95, I put it to 140 MPH very fast and notice as both turbos enter of correct form. There is some test more, than it can make to verify that the motor is in perfect state

Thank's for all, Danny

Let me be the first to say Welcome to the forum:D
the very best thing to do is get a Boost gauge and see what boost pattern you are getting if you are all stock you should get 10-8-10 and vac should read about 18".
just take care of it and service it and you will have a great car please use the search button located above as it will be a useful tool in finding alot of your answers:)

also please go to the RX7 Store to look for boost gauges as they have a good price and they host this forum aswell:bigthumb:

I also live in Spain in Malaga and I have owned a 3rd generation silver Mazda Rx-7 that was imported from Florida for the last 3 years. I have a hard time finding a good mecanic with experience in this car in Malaga if you know somebody in Madrid that knows how to work on this car? if you want get in contact with me directly my e-mai address is: maeva@arrakis.es

Hi Rikki, can you tell me, how to make the circles on the tail light ?

Excuse me by my broken english

lzyassmofo Jun 19, 2002 04:41 AM

i think by the circle tail lights you mean the style of the new tail lights on the japanese spec cars, built from 1999 and up. as far as i know to add that look to your car you would have to buy all new 99' spec tail lights, which isnt cheap. if your interested though heres a link:
http://66.216.67.51/product.asp?0=203&1=234&3=45
they are available at rx7store for like 460 american dollars a piece.

Spain Jun 19, 2002 04:52 AM

if I that they are taillights of the 99 model, but nonmemory where I read in some Web, that could be done by hand without having to buy them

Spain Jun 19, 2002 04:55 AM

i found it, look this

lzyassmofo Jun 19, 2002 05:09 AM

not a bad way to save some money, id just say be careful. if you mess up or dont seal them back up right you could definetely run into some head aches, but if your crafty and you want a weekend project go for it and tell me how they turn out :D

Spain Jun 19, 2002 05:25 AM

with a little taken care ;) , everything is possible. East weekend I am going to do it  , already I will comment to you as it is the result

Just for info... There is NO such thing as 99 spec tail lamps... They came out in 96 so you can get them off any 96-current FD`s. Not that much if you can find someone to get them off a junk 96 and up FD Just my pennies.....

FD3Boost-- Yeah most of the shops over here do that vise buying the 96-current round tail lamps... I think it looks pretty sweet, I would go that way if mine werent already round...
