Most mods without dyno tune?
 

I was just wondering how many mods people are adding to they're cars without having them tuned on a dyno.

Is a wideband o2 tune good enough?

Check the sticky up top about modding or do a search. It's something many people will debate because there are the upgraded ECU's from Pettit and others. But if you already have a PFC it wouldn't be a bad idea to tune along with the mods you have now if you haven't. The base maps are a good start but as stated by others before they are basically meant to get the car started and running until it can be tuned.

Damn, I am sorry. I don't think my question was clear. My PFC has been tuned on a wideband, and I am happy with the way my car runs. The shop I go to, tunes with a wideband.

I'm asking if they're are people out there running more mods, without dyno tuning? I'm wondering if I can continue to add modifications just tuning on a wideband? Or should I have it tuned on a dyno eventually?

You can probably keep adding mods as long as your AFR's are good(<11.5:1 under max boost) If you get a ported motor or get all the "Flow" mods you will probably need to get your secondary injectors bored out to 1300cc's and upgrade your fuel pump.

You should keep an eye on your injector duty cycles at peak. If you are running them to close to 90-100% that could be dangerously close to the edge and you risk poping your motor.

I know that "hyperion" has a stock ported motor with a Vmount, intake ,dp , hiflow cat, rb dual cat back and he said that his duty cycles were in the 85-90% range. He just bought a set of 1300cc's 2nd's

That's what I've been told anyway. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.
