Missing gasket pieces during efini y-pipe install

ok, so today i decide to start to try to track down my boost issue. since it seems im doing the whole 99 conversion thing i figured id just put in the efini y-pipe. hey, maybe id get lucky and it would be a coupler or cracked crossover or something.

anyway, everything was going great until i pulled out the old y-pipe and noticed i was missing pieces of the gasket that goes between the y-pipe and primary turbo. i immediately freeze and start looking around. i tore off the under tray and found the biggest piece but im still missing two 1/4 inch pieces that are near the bolt holes. you can see pretty far into the turbo where it starts to flatten out and i can see no debris of any kind, no indication that anything fell in, not even a micron piece. but that doesn't change the fact that i don't know where they are and they MIGHT be in there. i looked everywhere for hours. i looked until my head pounded.

how concerned should i be?

thank you.

Use a vacuum cleaner just in case.

are you saying you bought a y-pipe without new gaskets???

a proper kit should come with gaskets and the o-ring.
