milage on a used rear end??

i broke my rear end at the track about 3 weeks ago and i'm looking for a used one, is milage important when i'm looking for a rear end or can i just get one with high miles?
my friend told me that rear end is not effected by milage but i want to know what you guys think?

I believe that is true. Mileage on the diff isn't really importants. Drag launches are hard on them though. So you could have 10K miles with 100 drag launches being harder on it than 150K highway miles.

When you launch at the track do you slip the clutch?

i launch at 3000 rpm and slip the clutch a little bit on street tires but when i got my drag radials i reved up to 6500 and dumped the clutch and the car didn't go anywhere.
