That Speedhunters story is so full of eye candy, plus it made me want to go to Japan, lol.

The front view of the gated front fenders reminds me of the old late '70s early '80s IMSA GTO Porsche 935s.

Just needs a "wing stand" that starts at the "B" pillar LOL.

Yes but it comes with a very hefty price tag that doesn't include shipping and I cant imagine how mind blowing expensive the final cost of it would be :(

On the other hand however, the Panspeed Time Attack widebody made by Abflug which was used prior to their new kit is readily available and is much more cheaper. Some people think the Abflug kit is ugly and too outrageous but I think its looks sweet. RHDJapan has it listed for $2329 (not including shipping).

Great read but very dangerous. Makes me want to spend more money on my car

I actually know the guy who owns the blue FC (its parked 10 minutes from my house). A little fact checking, though: I know for a fact it isn't still registered. For starters, it doesn't have headlights. It's trucked to the track for every event.

I normally don't like body kits but totally agree, it is a very purposeful look. As a Porsche guy I also thought 935. Very cool.

Here is an article about the new aero work on the Panspeed time attack FD from when it was first being developed.

This is before the graphics and without wheels on the car for some shots so you can see a lot more of the details.

Not what I would want on my street FD (why the hell you need widebody on street FD?), but it is an interesting take on a race FD and I still like the front fender add on treatment (the double dip with fence).

I meant you can already fit 295/30-18 on 18x11 +45 front and rear like I do on a stock body FD, what do you need a wide body for. You can't get a wider tire up front without a lot of work because the tire diameter gets too tall.

On the racing circuit even if you aren't fitting wider tires, the wider track helps keep the inside wheels on the ground and makes it harder to pass.
