Many Questions....

Ok, im thinking about selling my s-10 and buying a 3rd gen Rx-7...im 19 in school, and it will be my daily driver, i need to get some helpful hints when looking for one, what i need to know about them in general, and if it will be a good daily driver......and any thing else, im trying to find out the pro's and con's before i go any further, and i figured this would be as good a place as any to find these things out since no one i know around here own's an rx7...thank yall very much....:)

don't spend all your money on the car, it will cost a good bit to maintain. When buying one amke sure compression is good. Make sure the one you buy has or you install soon after buying: a boost gauge, downpipe, upgraded radiator, and aluminum AST or AST elimination. These are the main reliability mods. The thing about the stock car is that it got very hot under the hood. I wouldn't suggest buying one unless you are pretty mechanically inclined. Oil leaks are common, check for that. 5th gear synchro's are also often messed up.

the best info out there is on rob rinette's site and steve scudianeri (spelling?) sorry i don't know the sites and dont' feel like trying to find them. ONce you read those you will know a lot more

I'm probably missing some, but this is a good place to start.
