Making parts look new agian

Does any one know what the green coloured coating is on the brake boost line, nuts, etc? Making under the hood perfect is time consuming but i want it that way. I would like to re-coat the lines so they look fresh and new.

I believe it's some sort of cadmium plating. It's unfortunately not something you can do at home, but you might want to call around in your area and see if you can find places that can re-plate parts. Describe the finish (it's really a goldish green finish) and see what they can do for you.

The yellow plating is likely a yellow zinc found on the nuts, bolts and solenoid rack or something similar. There is a place near me that will plate a entire box of parts for a lot charge ~$50 or so. I have not investigated the greenish color plating that is found on many brackets, etc but if you found a plating source for the zinc you can probably find a source for the green stuff.
