Majestic Turbos?

does anyone know about majestic turbos? i found a nice deal on a 93 fd with 30K on a mazda reman. engine and "fresh" majestic turbos, but i'm not sure i've ever heard of majestic. I went to the website and it looks a little shady. "an affordable alternative to purchasing a new unit from you manufacturer... " etc. Anyone with any advice or info would be appreciated.

Hehe No, but I love ur handle. That would also be a good one for the vanity plate thread.

I have heard bad things about Majestic. It is all hearsay, but from reliable sources.

it depends which majestic location you use.

Kevin runs a pretty decent operation in the Waco, TX location.
However, I hear negative comments about the Florida branch.

Gordon, I don't know if you've ever heard of Dale Clark, Steve Fooshee, or Brian Smith. They are the most knowledgeable folks in the panhandle on FCs and know a pretty good amount about FDs as well. They're some cool fellas. They've dealt with Majestic here in Florida, and when I told them I was getting my turbos rebuilt (by BNR) they told me just to stay away from Majestic, as they've had unpleasant experiences. If you want, I can PM you their email addresses.
