M2 intakes?

i have an M2 intake. with stock plastic piping.. will any aluminum intake piping fit my intake? are the pipings universal on all intakes?

The M2 hardpipes are identical to the Bonez hardpipes available on eBay. The Bonez ones are also much more affordable and easier to find.

I have a Rotary Extreme intake, which is exactly like the M2. I bought the intake pipes and had a few problems. The upper intake pipe fits, not perfectly, but it fits. The big problem for me was the lower intake pipe. The bend of the lower pipe and the length of it made it impossible to fit unless it was cut.

I do know that Ramy(FDNewbie) was selling M2 intakes and also the M2 pipes. My guess is those would be the pipes that fit exactly, but thats just a guess.

Maybe someone had better luck than i did with the pipes and an intake box. If you did, please post.

I had the same problem as ROTORhead 93. I have a Rotary Extreme intake (aluminum) and purchased hard pipes from RX7 Store couple of months ago. Top pipe was easy install but lower was a PITA. I was afraid of cutting too much and it took me all day to get it installed. That change also gave me a boost spike. I won't go WOT, saw it go to 15 psi when I tried and immediately got off of it. Stock ECU, maybe a PFC will solve that issue.

Same here, I have cf from m2 and when I installed the rx7store hardpipes I had to cut off a scary amount to make them fit. But the end result looks good. My advice buy the cheapest ones you can find just incase they need to be modifed.

Hardpipes that fit without cutting will be the first sign of the apocolypse.

i didn't have to cut my hardpipes......... then again it has a big fat M2 logo stamped on the pipe.....
