loud clunk from driver side wheel
going straight the driver side wheel area makes a loud clunking noise , faster the car goes more rapidly the sound is and the louder ... when i press the brake the sound goes away or when i make a right turn at low speeds
what could this be ? im helping out a friend to fix this , it is driving him nuts and hes been driving it around with music blasting so he wont hear it ,,, but it bothers me when im riding shotgun .. |

is that what it is ? why would the clunk noise go away when i apply brake?

Do a search on Pillowball bushings and read all of the input!
I replaced mine and it solved all of my clunking issues ! You can tell if they are loose by checking tire movement with tire jacked up. |
