looking for a 7
 

well im about to probly be in the market for a rx7 and i was wanting a 93-95. i was wanting to know what i realy need to look for and such because i need it to be very reliable for me. i have a 03 g35 (4 door) to trade with. just woundering what yal think i should look for.

If you're trying to do an even swap for your G35, you can get a TON of car for your money.

Then start asking more specific questions from there.

From personal experience, I'd say with proper maintenance, there's no reason you can't enjoy an FD as a reliable daily driver. However...I immediately gutted my car and started from the ground up, so it's been purring since it was put back together (and is much more quick on its feet than a stocker).

If you depend on it everyday then I would NOT get an FD. The G35 you have right now is very nice for your age and probably too much for you to handle in reality. I would say hold onto it unless you can swing a daily driver to go with the FD.

I tend to somewhat disagree. I feel if you get a stock 7 with low miles and just do the reliability mods you should be ok for the most part. If you plan to mod it then I'd say you might want to get another car for a dd and keep the 7 for a weekend car or something. You can have reliability issue's with any car thats been modd'd not just a 7. Besides who wants an infiniti when you can have a 7?! lol
